How to use the IQlator market view responsibly

The market page presents latest-available index and security quotes as context for financial calculations. Quotes can be delayed, incomplete or temporarily unavailable. A price move does not explain why an asset changed and should not be treated as a recommendation to buy or sell.

How to use this page

Country selection determines the reference indexes displayed. Personal watchlist symbols are stored in the browser and are used only to retrieve requested quotes. The page should be used to observe broad direction and then verify important figures with an exchange, broker or issuer.

Practical exampleA rising index can coexist with declines in many individual securities because indexes use different constituents and weighting methods. Compare the label, currency, timestamp and percentage change before interpreting a figure.

Inputs to verify

  • Confirm whether the market is open and whether the quote is delayed.
  • Verify ticker symbols and exchange suffixes for non-U.S. securities.
  • Use total-return data—not one-day price movement—for long-term evaluation.

Common questions

Are the quotes real time?

They are the latest available from the connected provider and may be delayed.

Does IQlator recommend stocks?

No. The watchlist is an informational convenience and does not provide investment recommendations.
